My Testimony... My Legend.
Rev. Neil Sanders

In 1961 when I was a teen drug addict and alcoholic
I met a girl named Joyce Walton.
At the time I did not know she was a backslid Pentecostal girl
however, I fell in love with her when I first saw her.
A year later we began to date and very quickly
I knew that I was going to marry this girl.

I was saved and entered the Crucified Way in 1963 and that
very night it was prophesied that I was called to preach.
In 1965 I moved to Jeffersonville, Indiana to prepare for the Ministry.
We were sent out into the work of the ministry in September of 1967,
and since that time we have been pastors.

We pastored three churches in Texas, in Kentucky, in Oklahoma,
and two different churches in New York state.
We evangelized for 3 years until the day when Sister Sanders'
mother became ill at which time we moved back to Oklahoma.

After being here a short time, some of the Indians from Anadarko
who had attended our revivals in Watonga, Oklahoma
and the surrounding area began to contact us.
After several calls, we decided to go see if we could
feel in the Spirit if we were to start a church there.

Within a year and a half the LORD worked a miracle
which made it possible for us to obtain a nice church
building, and since we have been witnessing
God's miracles within the Indian Nations.

I was given an awesome privilidge when I was invited
by The Native American Church to be at an all night prayer
meeting in a Tee Pee for the Chief of the Kiowa Nation,
which has been one for the highlights of my life.
The presence of God I felt that night cannot be put into words.

I have been so blessed as I have learned the customs of each
nation of Indians, and to see the dramatic differences between the
Caddos, Wichitas, Apaches, Kiowas, Delawares, Cherokees,
Creeks, Chickasaws, Choctaws, Comanches,
Cheyennes, and Arapahos, is most amazing.

It is imperative to understand the personalities of each
of these people and the differences in their customs
in order to be able too work with them.
The work here is awesome, and the burden is great!

We have many needs within the Indian Nations,
but we are believing God for miracles daily.
By the miracles we have witnessed so far,
I know he won't fail us now...
